Unlike "Origami Pleats" that relies on the natural ability of polyester to "remember" folds when heat-set, a new process allows NUNO to weave structure right on the loom, without using a paper template. With the incorporation of heat-shrinking threads woven as supplementary wefts, this next-generation textile, "Polygami," automatically forms peaks and valleys when doused with hot water.
